Exhibitions

Our winter exhibition is on 20th and 21st November and we look forward to lots of interesting paintings from all of our members.

  • Members may exhibit up to 8 original works - no prints will be accepted.
  • You may only hang up to two pictures that have been hung before.
  • All paintings to be suitably framed to gallery standard complete with taut cord or wire ready for hanging on a hook. The committee reserve the right to remove any paintings deemed unsuitable.
  • Each painting should have a label on the back with Name: Title: Medium: and Price.
  • A catalogue no. will be issued on the hanging morning to be attached to the front of the work.
  • All work must remain in the exhibition until closing time on the Sunday.
  • Unsold work must be collected on Sunday 6th June at 5pm.
  • It is expected that all those members wishing to exhibit will be prepared to offer to help with refreshments, screens or manning the door during this weekend. Thank You.
  • Please note that the club acnnot be held responsibel for any loss or damage to your art work - Insurance is up to each individual member.
  • Hand made cards and mounted but unframed paintings can be sold on the card stall. We are also having a jewellry table againat this exhibition. (15% commission).
  • NB There will be a new charge of £1 for each paintings NFS to be collected on the day of hanging.

Open to ALL club members who have paid their subs before the exhibition date.
