Exhibitions
- Members may exhibit up to 8 original works - no prints will be accepted.
- You may only hang up to two pictures that have been hung before.
- All paintings to be suitably framed to gallery standard complete with taut cord or wire ready for hanging on a hook. The committee reserve the right to remove any paintings deemed unsuitable.
- Each painting should have a label on the back with Name: Title: Medium: and Price.
- A catalogue no. will be issued on the hanging morning to be attached to the front of the work.
- For this exhibition we are allowing any painting sold to be taken at the time of the sale. Any gaps on the display board will be filled by a randomly chosen painting taken from the stock of reserve paintings.
- The entry form shows that you may enter 2 extra paintings in line 9 & 10. These will not be in the catalogue, but will have a card (provided) attached at the time of hanging with the relevant details.
- Please ensure that your spare paintings are protected in a bubble wrap bag or similar so they can be easily stored and accessed when required. (Put your name on the bag if you want it back!)
- Unsold work must be collected on Sunday 20th. November 4.45pm
- It is expected that all those members wishing to exhibit will be prepared to offer to help with refreshments, screens or manning the door during this weekend. Thank You.
- Please note that the club cannot be held responsibel for any loss or damage to your art work - Insurance is up to each individual member.
- Hand made cards and mounted but unframed paintings can be sold on the card stall. We are also having a jewellry table againat this exhibition. (15% commission).
- NB There will be a new charge of £1 for each paintings NFS to be collected on the day of hanging.
